Biography: Miodrag Bogic, Film Director Biography Born in 1940, in Pozarevac (then Yugoslavia). Film and TV director, Belgrade. Studied at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade. Advanced training in Experimental Studio “Dunav Film”. Film & TV Director in Television Belgrade. President of the Association for Literature and Culture Yugoslavia-Canada; Coordination Board President of the Joint Associations for Cultural Cooperation. Directed over 200 TV and radio programs and documentaries, Seven TV series, five documentary and popular programs, several TV poetry programs. Major works: TV series “From Fire to Human Thaught”, “Puberty”, “Adolescence”, “The Art of Loving”, “The Way We Speak, the Way We Write”, “Family Entertainment” and “Ecological Psychology”, TV feature films “De Luxe II”, “Stop the Bells”,, “Heroines from Scotland”, “All That Theatre”, “Certain Questiones”, “Game”, “One Life, One Career” (portrait of J. Bjegojevic), Managing Director of “Magma film”, Belgrade. Member of European Society for Culture. Filmography “Bring Back Life to the Lake”, documentary, “Filmske novosti” ("Film News") production. Aworded: “Golden Medal at Eko Fest” (1977), Belgrade (30 countries participated). Received one of the main awards – „Special award for exceptional contribution to tourist film“ at the Fifth International Tourist Film Festival (2002.) for the film „Coming to Belgrade“ (52 countries participated, in Split, Croatia) MAGMA FILM PRODUCTION. For Radio Television of Serbia directed 10 half hour documentary films (2002) about the problems of the economy during transition period. During 2003., 2004. and in the first half of 2005 directed 12 documentary films each lasting 25 minutes as a series „The Birth of Light“. MAGMA FILM PRODUCTION, for the Electric Power Industry of Serbia. During 2006 directs documentary film „Chances for better tomorrow“. MAGMA FILM PRODUCTION for German’s NGO Help. During 2007 he starts shooting long documentary film „Herald of Freedom“ (film biography of Riga of Fere). MAGMA FILM PRODUCTION. At the beginning of 2008 he finished script for feature film under working title „Little Philomena in the Big Wide World“. MAGMA FILM PRODUCTION. During 2008 he starts shooting long documentary film „Edward’s Passion“ (film biography of Edward Rusjan). MAGMA FILM PRODUCTION.
