Brief Message to Members: 

Since the summer of 2008 when I made my first full-length documentary, Cymanfa Ganu Chicago 2008, about the Welsh American song festival, I have been working continuously on several different films. I am currently working a film about the national aspirations of Catalunya, Free Catalunya (...with every paella). I am also working on a documentary on the early Welsh farmers of Clay County in Iowa, as yet untitled, and am gathering material for a longer project on the history of Welsh immigration to the Americas. I am also about to start filming interviews for a film about the female perspective of the Catalan independence movement. I have plans for next summer to do a documentary on softball in the LA area. My films are self-financed, and I do almost all the research, filming, editing, writing and music myself.
