US Marines, 1963-6 with Vietnam tour. Captain.
Professor of American Studies and film for 37 years at Oklahoma State U
Recipient of the 2011 Oklahoma Humanities Award

Editor and/or author of 16+ books on film and society, film and history.
Six or more historical films on Will Rogers, the Vietnam Conflict, and
assorted topics such as poverty.
