Biography: 

Currently directing my first documentary EPICENTER: The Los Angeles Art Scene Comes of Age, which shines a spotlight on the cultural richness of Los Angeles by following a group of high-profile contemporary visual artists who are doing things differently. Incorporated into their work is a dedication to community and an examination of society. They align themselves with programs and issues as diverse as neighborhood redevelopment, urban revitalization, community and youth education, immigration and the environment.

I have been a professional communicator my entire career, first as a journalist, then editor, and then I moved into corporate and public relations. For the past six years I have been working as a publicist for those in the arts. My documentary is an homage not just to them but to Los Angeles, a city too often underrated from a cultural perspective.
