"The Christmas Path" (1999, FOX Family) marked the end of her career as a costume designer and in 2000, A Language of Passion, a bilingual documentary about Latino artists in Los Angeles, went into production under the company name of Joie de Vivre Productions.
Also in 2000, she made a short art film Rhiannon's Bridge, one of the first short films to screen on the ifilm.com website and has screened as recently as 2006 in NYC. In 2002, she made Chili & Tortillas, a short documentary, which screened at the French festival Slow Food on Film.

venues - film festivals to include Festival de Cine Chicano in Mexico City, Boyle

In 2008 Joie de Vivre opened it’s doors to clients, and has now added Storybooks & Timepieces - a museum video, Atanas Karpeles – Untitled - a promotional video and Dear Governor Schwarzenegger - a PSA, to her credits.
She writes frequently for the Pasadena Weekly, authored an exclusive feature on the legendary filmmaker, Kenneth Anger, for AMASS magazine, and wrote regular columns in the now defunct LA Beat, and musicBIZ magazine.
