Biography: Biography Rajiv Shah is an independent filmmaker, media content provider and technical-creative consultant FOR Digital Restoration and Archival based out of Mumbai in India . Rajiv is a graduate in Sociology and Law by qualification and began his filmmaking career in 1982 initially as full-fledged advertising agency and then to Corporate Communication and PR Consultant and subsequently into film making. He has specialised in adfilms, short and documentary films and corporate films and has to his credit over 369 titles. He is felicitated by President of India and his films are screened on various International films festivals. As a short and documentary filmmaker, Rajiv has covered diverse range of subjects such as the health, science and technology, Energy, Information Technology, Agriculture and Rural development, economics of microfinance to environmental pollution and sustainable development to education. He has produced corporate films for International and India 's premier organizations. Rajiv has also been retained as an adviser by several international agencies such as CARE INTERNATIONAL-USA, UKTI, Global Foundation-USA, America India Foundation, Microsoft. Rajiv has extensive knowledge and contacts with post production industry in India and abroad and been retained as advisor by many reputed organizations. He has above decades experience in pre production, production and post production of Broadcast and film, daily soaps, shorts, docus, corporate a/v, promos, ad-films, commercials, vfx and animation films. Currently last 9 years, apart from filming and producing for his corporate clients, Rajiv also has a been a part of project management and consultancy for setting up of Digital Film Restoration infrastructure and has extensive and strong business contacts for outsourcing Digital Restoration,VFX and Animation business from overseas contacts. Associated as consultant with Rajatary, Avitel and Pixion Studios for sourcing foreign clients.
