Rick Meghiddo is an architect and a producer/director of architecture documentaries. By merging multiple areas of knowledge, he creates videos with an architect’s eye. He produced and directed over twenty video-documentaries to date.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Rick practiced architecture in Israel, Los Angeles and Long Beach. His architectural work has been published by prestigious architectural magazines. He started to produce architecture documentaries within the framework of www.architectureawareness.com
Rick has a Doctor of Architecture degree from the University of Rome and a Master in Architecture and Urban Design degree from U.C.L.A. He is also a California-licensed Real Estate Broker and a LEED Accredited Professional. During 2003-2007 he was appointed Board Member of Long Beach’s Redevelopment Agency.
Besides his practice together with his wife Ruth, also an architect, he taught design at Israel’s Technion and chaired the School of Architecture’s Graduating Projects Program. He lectured on architecture’s subjects of actuality, taught history of architecture at the University of California, Irvine, and published articles and poetry in literary magazines. His photography includes the works of Le Corbusier, Alvar Aalto and over one hundred works of Frank Lloyd Wright. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and Hebrew.
