Biography: 

Michael Ney (producer, director, editor, cameraman) started in theatre lighting, stage management and director's assistant and after several years moved into television production. Later, he started a commercial photography and audio-visual production company called "Midnite Stills"... which ultimately led to creating "Virtual Realm Xchange", a multimedia company in the late 80's. Finally Michael settled down to his first love - filmmaking. In 2007 he released a feature documentary "Liberty In Restraint - behind the eyes of a fetish photographer". Michael also shot and produced a documentary in India called "Baba's Birthday" - (released on Meher Baba's birthday Feb 25) directed by Peter Sumner, edited by Carolina Rincon and original music by Christopher Gordon. Traveling between USA, UK, Europe and Australia, Michael is developing a slate of projects for his production company, Sensory Image, and continues to help organise events and promote the DVD Archive for OZDOX.

OzDox - The Australian Documentary Forum under the umbrella of ADG (Australian Directors Guild) is a non-profit community based group holding popular events in Sydney. The DVD Archive of 30 OZDOX events - PAL versions - are available for sale at: http://www.ozdox.org/dvd-archive/ - sent anywhere in the world.

Our aim now is to create NTSC versions of these 30 programs and distribute in USA via web. We would love to hear from anyone interested in helping with that... small investment required to get duplication underway, and help with managing the online shopfront and promotions.
