SHELLEY ALEXA SOMERVILLE

Shelley is in the business of large-scale social change. For more than 25 years, she has brought about community, city and regional change - in Europe, Asia, Australasia and the Americas - in partnership with nonprofit, business, government and media leaders.

As a strategy consultant-facilitator, she serves social enterprises – those engaged in changing lives – articulating the mission, clarifying the vision, shaping strategy, building capacities, forging partnerships and, most importantly, securing exceptional results.

Currently, as founder of MASS~IMPACT, based in Los Angeles, Shelley serves the CEOs and Boards of nonprofits and businesses, accelerating the growth of entertainment media-based movements that bring about breakthroughs in social and economic performance.

Formerly, as a managing partner with Accenture, she founded and led the Organization & Change Strategy practice and the Institute for Strategic Change, and created Centers of Excellence for Enterprise Transformation, Strategic Alliances and Globalization.

In senior management roles with McKinsey and IBM, and as a founding member of A4SL Coaching & Consulting, she has assisted CEOs and their Boards resolve difficult issues, set new directions, accelerate growth and deliver superior results.

As an ordained minister and transgender woman, she serves her clients with an uplifting spiritual awareness, appreciation of diversity and compassion for human beings.

Shelley was described by Peter Drucker, the Founding Father of Modern Management, as “the best facilitator of meetings, conferences and work groups I have ever met”.
