Stephen Bannatyne is co-founder & president of Lucky Hat Entertainment, a production and development company based in Los Angeles, California. Lucky Hat has produced such acclaimed films as INFORMANT (dir. Jamie Meltzer), grand jury prize winner at DocNYC & Austin; IF A TREE FALLS: A STORY OF THE EARTH LIBERATION FRONT (dir. Marshall Curry), nominated for a 2012 Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature; THE ORDER OF MYTHS (dir. Margaret Brown), winner of a 2009 Peabody Award and GOODBYE SOLO (dir. Ramin Bahrani), named one of the top 10 films of 2009 by Roger Ebert. Steve lives in Eagle Rock with his wife, daughter and their two hound dogs.
