Teresa Trujillo is a Southern California native. She is an amateur photographer and filmmaker who made her film festival debut at the 2013 HRTV Film Festival at Santa Anita Park.
She is a professional freelance graphic designer who specializes in book design.
Trujillo has a life-long love affair with horses and racing. She attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, where she studied Agriculture Business Management, Animal Science, and International Agriculture. While in school she travelled the country on the livestock and horse judging teams. She served as Cal Poly’s elected student body president.
Teresa formerly worked for the Thoroughbred Times magazine, the Orange County Register newspaper, and Kinko’s Inc.
She is married to horseshoer Joe Trujillo and they make their home in La Mirada, California.
Teresa’s next adventure is a trip to Haiti where she will be volunteering with the aid group Hands Together which teaches agriculture skills in rural Haiti as well as providing schools 7,000 children in Port-au-Prince.
