I was born in Southern California. At the age of 18 I set upon a journey to see the world which took me as far as Tunisa,North Africa. Upon my return to the USA I enrolled at San Francisco State University and graduated with a degree in geography,I went on to graduate school at Otis College of Art and Design and studied fine art photography. After graduation I continued photographing in the Los Angeles area which collimated in a solo exhibition "Los Angeles A Photographer's View"
Documentary photographer William Purcell describes my work best when he stated"Much of my work is a lyrical document of what I call extreme people. I'm capturing street theater and making portraits of people whose personal limits are different then the norm. With these thin slices of time I'm looking for cracks in reality so that I may peer beneath the surface and question the nature of reality.
I am currently a film student at UCLA and working towards a narritive film of the people and places I have photographed.
