A coming of age story about a young musical genius that has been anointed the savior and future of the Blues. Diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome, this 17 year old prodigy is carrying the weight physically, and emotionally of his responsibility to preserve the music while providing for his family.
Christone “Kingfish” Ingram was born in 1999 to Princess and Christopher Ingram of Clarksdale, Mississippi. Being home to the Delta Blues, Christone who was raised in the church caught on to music at an early age. Getting the nickname Kingfish, the young prodigy became a natural sponge of musical talent. At the age of six, he learned to play the drums, followed by the bass guitar, and finally the lead guitar. Following in the footsteps of Clarksdale Blues legends like John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Ike Turner, Junior Parker, and Robert Johnson, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram had mastered the guitar, drums, and bass by the age of 14. Following in his idol BB King’s footsteps, Kingfish become a vocalist adding that to his repertoire.
