What is the best way to travel to or from LAX?

  1. FlyAway bus: The FlyAway bus service provides frequent non-stop transportation between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Hollywood (1627 N. Vine St.). Buses operate seven days a week and drop passengers off on the Upper/Departures Level of each terminal at LAX. At LAX, passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal under the green "FlyAway, Buses and Long Distance Vans" signs. The bus operates daily and departs Hollywood hourly from 5:15 a.m. to 9:15 p.m. One-way fare is $8. For more information about the bus service, call (866) 435-9529 or click here.

  2. Rideshare: If you are planning on using Uber, Lyft, or other rideshare services, please note that LAX has designated “Ride Service pickup” areas. The locations are on the upper Departures Level marked by round signs with the letters A through E. When you are using the apps, they will still give you a choice of the closest location.

  3. Hotel shuttles: Please check with your hotel to see if they offer free shuttle service from the airport.

  4. Car rental: Car rental can be convenient if you plan to travel outside of the LA metro area, but traffic congestion will be significant and parking may be difficult to find.

What public transportation are available in LA?

If you choose to stay outside of the Hollywood area, the conference hub is easily accessible through LA Metro. The closest rail stop is the Hollywood / Vine station on Metro Red Line. LADOT DASH also provides frequent, inexpensive and convenient bus service across the City of Los Angeles. Please use the Metro Trip Planner to find the itinerary that works best for you.
