“He opened his door, and it changed his life.”
Rahul Dubey flung open his door to the peaceful, mostly black, protesters on June 1 2020 who were being attacked by police on Swann Street in Washington, DC. A tsunami of strangers poured into his home, and Dubey protected 75 protestors from violence and arrest for the next 12 hours. This one instinctive, selfless act would send Dubey on a journey, forever changed, with a mission to make ours a more just world.
