Eunice is the untold story of a fashion icon, mother, wife and history maker. While Eunice Johnson worked to expand the Ebony + Jet empire with her husband John Johnson from the late 1940’s up until her passing in the early 2000’s, she was also working to expand the idea of what black female beauty was in the eyes of black women during one of the toughest moments in history for us, while also, getting an entire industry to see black women as beautiful, deserving and able.

This film walks the audience through the life of Eunice Johnson from her birth in Selma Alabama in 1916 all the way to her death in the early 2000’s and the legacy she leaves behind today in the fashion and beauty space.
