The Mojave Road is a microcosm of California history. Originally a trade route for the Pi-Ute tribe who made this region their home, the region has been traversed by numerous people ranging from the Spanish to mountain Men to the pioneers looking for opportunity in the west. Among these travelers there have been many famous names, such as John C. Freemont, who have added to the history of the region. The documentary “Heritage Trail” will show the story of preservation and the wonderful results of personal dedication. It will be a valuable asset to those learning about the history of California and the steps need to preserve our heritage.
