Paul Sturtz is co-director of the True/False Film Fest: Paul co-founded the Ragtag Film Society with David Wilson in 1998, and since 2000 has worked as the head programmer at Ragtag Cinema, one of 14 outstanding art house cinemas selected by the Sundance Institute in 2006. With David Wilson, he co-founded True/False in 2004 and has served as its co-director since. Paul has served on film juries at several festivals, including the San Francisco International Film Festival, DocAviv, and Planete Doc in Warsaw, Poland. His short documentary “Dear Valued Guests” premiered in 2013. Paul was selected along with David as one of 40 people or companies in the inaugural “Indiewire Influencers” list, described as “visionaries that are changing the course of film.”
