By IDA Editorial Staff

IDA friend AJ Schnack pointed out that Ari Folman's Waltz with Bashir becmase the first nonfiction film to ever win a Golden Globe when it took home the statuette for Best Foreign Language Film last night.

Bashir is also a 2008 IDA Documentary Award winner (in the Feature Documentary category), on the Cinema Eye Honors Feature Film Shortlist, has taken home more than a few other awards already and is a strong Oscar contender.
