CANCELLED: What's New: IMAX

PDT

IMAX Playa Vista, 12582 W. Millennium Drive, Los Angeles CA 90094

Join IDA and Mo Rhim, Senior Vice President and Co-Head of New Initiatives; Sandy Itkoff, Head of Documentaries; and Patricia and David Keighley, Chief Quality Gurus at IMAX, for the next installment of our highly anticipated What’s New series, in which we bring prominent industry leaders in the documentary field to present up-to-the-minute information about what’s happening in the documentary landscape, and discuss exciting new opportunities for filmmakers.

IMAX has been the leader in the large-screen film format for over 50 years and continues to drive audiences to immersive cinematic experiences with films like IDA Documentary Awards Best Feature nominee Apollo 11, the Academy Award-winning Free Solo, and Beastie Boys Story, an intimate, personal story of the band and their 40 years of friendship, coming out this spring. In this session Rhim and Itkoff will discuss the kinds of projects IMAX is looking to produce and what stories work best on the IMAX big screen format, and will update documentary filmmakers on other innovative opportunities at IMAX. This discussion will also include Patricia and David Keighley, who have been with IMAX since the company's inception and are pioneers of the large-screen format.

Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to engage with the leaders in immersive giant-screen entertainment, and have your questions answered by Rhim, Itkoff and the Keighlys during the Q&A session.

The event is postponed and will be rescheduled for a future date. Please check back for updates!
