With generous support from the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture, IDA is excited to offer eligible undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in a paid Summer/Fall internships. 2022 Arts Internship positions will be open to currently enrolled undergraduate (2 or 4-year) and community college students who reside or attend college in Los Angeles County. Recent graduates may apply as long as they have completed their degree between May 1 - December 1, 2022.
The Documentary Magazine Intern will work approximately 30-40 hours per week from June 2022 through September 2022 under the supervision of IDA editorial staff to undertake research, analysis and writing that will support a thriving national documentary community. The Intern will have opportunities to learn about DA, understand the essential elements of producing a leading arts publication, and understand the national documentary landscape as well as some of the issues that are most important to filmmakers.
Nonfiction Access Initiative (NAI) Program Manager
The Nonfiction Access Initiative (NAI) Program Manager is the lead on the development and implementation of IDA’s new fund, the Nonfiction Access Initiative. The Program Manager will work to implement the NAI Research & Design (R&D) process, outreach, and implementation. The Program Manager manages the initiative’s Access Coordinator, logistics, research, NAI public programs, and NAI submissions. Our ideal candidate is based in Los Angeles, has strong communication skills, a creative orientation, is extremely well-organized, and can work well independently and as part of a team.
Accounting & Finance Associate
This role will provide key support in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll and provide overall support documenting and managing donations to our fiscally sponsored projects. They are a helpful, accessible resource and proactive problem solver, keeping our systems running smoothly.
