Abby Sun is IDA's Director of Artist Programs and leads the programming team of Getting Real '24.

Lisa Valencia-Svensson

 

Programmer

Lisa Valencia-Svensson is an Emmy award winning and Academy Award shortlisted producer, VP of Finance at Fae Pictures, Programmer for the International Documentary Association’s Getting Real conference, and the lead consultant for the Documentary Organization of Canada’s Business Leap program.  She was previously the Managing Director of the Racial Equity Media Collective and the Acting Industry Programs Director at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.  Before that she was Head of Operations at Multitude Films. Credits include It’s Only Life After All, Pray Away, Always In Season, Call Her Ganda, Herman’s House, Migrant Dreams and The World Before Her.

Meghan Monsour

 

Programmer

Meghan Monsour is a film programmer and programming consultant based in Mexico. Her career has been dedicated to reimagining how films connect with their audiences and developing alternative distribution networks for documentary film. Previously she was the director of programming at the Ambulante Documentary Film Festival.

Gabriella Ortega Ricketts

 

Travel and Hospitality Coordinator, Fellowship Manager

Gabriella Ortega Ricketts is a Colombian-American interdisciplinary artist and filmmaker living in Los Angeles. As an archival producer, her work most notably includes Rebel Hearts (Sundance, 2021) and The Andy Warhol Diaries (Netflix, 2022).

Ivory Zorich

 

Conference Executive Producer

Ivory Zorich is a seasoned public relations, marketing, and events production specialist with over twenty years of interdisciplinary experience in entertainment and advocacy. Before starting her firm, Zorich was the Senior Director for Special Events at the Motion Picture Association (MPA), where she was responsible for planning and managing upwards of 40 events a year that cut across industry lines to advance the interests of the six major Hollywood studios

Victoria Meaney

 

Food, Beverage, and Rooms Manager

Victoria Meaney is the chief executive office at Meaney Consulting, LLC, a 100% minority/women-owned firm focused on improving and maintaining relationships between community organizations and their stakeholders. Most recently, she served as the managing partner at 3C Strategies, LLC. Previous experience includes the Center for Popular Democracy, Nextgen Climate Action Committee, the 2016 Democratic National Convention Committee, and South Asian Americans Leading Together.

Access Consultant

Emily Voorde is the Founder and CEO of INTO Strategies, a Disabled-led firm bringing people into moments, movements, and campaigns. Prior to INTO Strategies, Emily served as Chasten Buttigieg's Body Woman and as the Biden-Harris Administration's liaison to Disabled Americans.

 

Pass Sales Manager

Brooke Harbaugh is the Pass Sales Manager for IDA's Getting Real '24. She is also an independent creative producer, project manager, and artist for film, theater, and live events. She has written and directed work at Automata, a gallery for contemporary performance practices in Los Angeles, screened at San Diego Underground Film Festival, and produced works across genres at California Institute of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, and in Argentina as a Fulbright recipient. She has an MFA in Creative Producing from California Institute of the Arts.

 

The conference team is also supported by all of the IDA Staff and the Board of Directors.
