About the Film:
Soul Patrol uncovers a hidden chapter of American military history through the Vietnam War’s first Black special ops team. With unprecedented access to this group of veterans, director J.M. Harper reconstructs their journey using Super 8 footage and photographs from their personal archives. As the surviving members reunite decades later, memory and unresolved trauma collide—winner of the Directing Award for U.S. Documentary at the Sundance Film Festival.
