    Emilia Mello

    Emilia Mello is a Brazilian-American director and producer based in São Paulo, Brazil. Her first feature documentary, Sem Deus, Sem Demônio (No Kings), premiered at CPH:DOX in 2020 and screened at True/False Film, MoMA Doc Fortnight, among others. She graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Evolution and Environmental Biology and has an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

    Elijah Stevens is a documentary producer based in New York City. He associate produced Hollywoodgate (Venice 2023; BBC Storyville), King Coal (Sundance 2023; POV), and the Oscar-nominated Fire of Love (Sundance 2022; National Geographic Documentary Films), amongst others. Elijah’s work has been supported by Sundance, NYSCA, the Inmaat Foundation, DOK Leipzig, The Gotham, DocsBarcelona, DOC NYC, DOK.Forum and Ji.hlava. He is a current Sundance Producers Lab fellow.
