Please join A&E IndieFilms and the International Documentary Association (IDA) for a conversation with Emmy- and Oscar-nominated Cartel Land director Matthew Heineman. Directly following a screening of the film, IDA Executive Director Simon Kilmurry will moderate an intimate discussion with Heineman, recounting the risks of filming in one of the world's most precarious places, and addressing the sometimes porous boundaries between documentary filmmaking and citizen journalism.
