IDA Presents: From The Ashes

IDA Presents a special screening of National Geographic Documentary Films, From The Ashes with moderated Q&A.  The film captures Americans in communities across the country as the wrestle with the legacy of the coal industry and what its future should be under the Trump Administration.  Beyond the all the rhetoric of the “war on coal”, From the Ashes presents a compelling and often heartbreaking stories about what’s at stake for our economy, health and climate.  The film invites the audience to learn more about an industry on the edge and it means for their lives.
