Jigar Mehta is deputy managing director of Doha Debates. He helps to lead the overall mission of Doha Debates through a keen focus on audience-first media experiences. Before joining Doha Debates, Jigar was senior vice president of video at Fusion Media Group. Jigar has held executive roles at AJ+ and Matter Ventures and was part of the newsroom at The New York Times as a video journalist. Jigar received a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Journalism at UC Berkeley and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from UC Berkeley.
