Sam Greenspan is an award-winning radio reporter, producer, and artist based in Los Angeles. Best known for his work as a founding producer at 99% Invisible, Sam helped transform a “tiny podcast about design” into one of the most recognized narrative journalism podcasts to date. Sam also helped launch NPR’s TED Radio Hour,  USA Today’s The City, Radiotopia’s Spacebridge, among other radio & podcast projects. 

As an educator, Sam has taught numerous courses in radio production, most recently at Stanford University, and has given talks on radio on three continents. Sam just completed a successful Kickstarter campaign for his new show, Bellwether, a podcast of speculative journalism—true stories of the world as it is through the lens of what it might become. Episode 01 is available now. Sam is currently a fellow of the Institute For The Future.
