A still from the film shows Adelina standing alone in an open field, her head tilted upward toward the sky. Her bare shoulders and tightly crossed arms convey exposure and restraint, while her upward gaze suggests longing and a deep desire for freedom. The cold blue tones of the landscape and the distant city reinforce her emotional isolation.

About the Project

After 11 years of being locked away from the outside world, Adelina, a young trans woman from a Georgian village, flees to Vienna in search of freedom. As Adelina builds her new life, she faces the past that refuses to let her go. Through immersive imagery and the mother-daughter bond, A Song Without a Home paints a layered portrait of belonging and the complexity of freedom beyond physical liberation.
