About the Project

The Delegates is a feature documentary following international high school students as they journey to New York City to participate in the World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) Global Model United Nations conference. As they negotiate international crises within the United Nations General Assembly Hall, they also navigate the universal challenges of adolescence: friendship, identity, belonging, and the discovery of their voice. Through exclusive access, the film reveals that while these delegates may be practicing diplomacy, they are also experiencing formative moments that will shape who they become long after they leave New York.
