About the Project
“Everything Must Change” is a an Iranian-American woman’s search for meaning after her recurrent diagnosis of Breast Cancer. This first-person, follow-along documentary unfolds in real time over 6 years, beginning with Mariam Jobrani’s first Breast Cancer diagnosis in 2010. Upon diagnosis, her ex-boyfriend, Kenny Krauss, starts documenting her journey through Western medicine treatments and later her worldwide search for physical and spiritual healing. This uplifting documentary explores themes such as: the quest for meaning when faced with a life-threatening illness and the healing power of true love and friendship.
