Ghost of Group B: Chasing the RS1700T – The Brian Betteridge Story tells the remarkable story of one of Ford’s rarest rally cars and the man who spent nearly 30 years searching for it. At its heart is Brian Betteridge, a lifelong motorsport competitor and custodian of a surviving Ford Escort RS1700T prototype – an extraordinary machine created for Group B rallying before Ford cancelled the programme.

Through Brian’s story, rare archive material and first-hand accounts from the people who were there, the documentary will uncover the development, disappearance and survival of the RS1700T, while preserving an important chapter of British motorsport history for future generations.
