IN THE SUMMER OF 1969 a group of high school students developed a worldwide sport in a parking lot in Maplewood, NJ. They never thought it would grow to 10 million players in 100 countries — nor still be played at the old parking lot. This is the true and surprising story of the birth and survival of ultimate frisbee told from the high schoolers who played every chance they got… down at THE LOT.
