About the Project

One of the most isolated, yet essential islands on earth; Midway Atoll is an escape & home for a select group of scientists, who gave up all modern conveniences to live in seclusion and engage in scientific research, which includes the study of a famous seabird named WISDOM.

They face life and death stakes, as they navigate this remote region, which has played a central role in geopolitics, cultural identity, tourism, nature and science.
