About the Project

A cross-cultural montage of stories about women who became breadwinners after their husbands were suddenly no longer around. A school teacher in Oregon, USA... A genocide survivor in Phnom Penh, Cambodia...A field laborer in Chihuahua, Mexico... follow the extraordinary stories of ordinary women who suddenly found themselves alone with a family to feed.
