About the Project

Situated in the stunning and surreal Arctic landscape, the documentary GATEKEEPERS OF THE ARCTIC covers the compelling stories of people who share their passion for the Arctic and whose lives are directly affected by the escalating environmental changes occurring there.

The film gives witness to the delicate balance between man and nature. It accompanies a renowned climatologist to Greenland's Ice Sheet, while simultaneously presenting a small northern community struggling to preserve their local culture in an ever-growing globalized world.
