About the Project

There are 350,000 Armenians in Southern California. Who are they, where do they come from and why are they here?  LITTLE ARMENIA is a 90-minute exploration of the Armenian experience in Southern California. Targeted at both Armenian and non-Armenian audiences the film delves into the nature of Armenian identity and ponders the question: how can it be kept alive in the Diaspora?  And what will being Armenian in Southern California look like a hundred years from now?
